I agree that the Never Trumpers did everything in their power to stack the deck and rig the trial to unfairly convict Trump after a show trial. Probably nobody on the jury voted for Trump. However, I understand that there are two lawyers on the jury which is highly unusual. Also, many people in NYC who voted for Biden in 2020 now regret this and wish that Trump was back. Maybe even some of these jurors feel this way. I myself have served on a jury. If, as you suggest, the prosecutors made me sit through all this Stormy Daniels testimony and Michael Cohen testimony for two weeks and then came back and claimed that none of this was necessary to prove their case I would be angry at the prosecutors for wasting my valuable time. Maybe one of the lawyers will point out that the prosecution failed to prove Trump guilty. It only takes one refusnik juror to result in a hung jury. If Judge Merchan then kicks out this juror to pave the way for a Trump conviction the dismissed juror will then go viral claiming that he was dismissed solely for refusing to go along with the Trump conviction. Trump will yet again gain millions of votes as the whole trial will be proven to be bogus in the eyes of millions of ordinary voters. I think that Trump expects a guilty verdict and is counting on it to prove how crooked the whole government has become. "The Great Awakening." WLR

I really wish the defender had asked "Given what we now know about you, was Trump wise not to make you AG?" Even if this DID fall under the crime-fraud exception, wouldn't the ethical thing to be to step down as the person's lawyer and keep your tongue on the information you already have?
